Sky Entertainment, Crescendo Events and The Institute For Music Education will be Organising World Music 2017 at State stadium at 5 p.m. Gear Sponsors - Shiu Lights, Encore, Crescendo, AJ power, Action Powerline. Following solo artistes and bands will be performing on World Music Day 2017 at State Stadium, near DC Court junction, Dimapur. The open air concert will start at 5 p.m. Solo artistes performing in the concert includes Alobo Naga, Renbeni Odyuo, Abel Assumi, DJ Amar, DJ Sumika, Jano Nyekha, Thunglamo Ngullie, Meribeni Patton, Samuel Lotha, Muno Shiu, Naro Sangtam, Moathangit Jamir and Khochamo Kikon. Seven bands including The Gluttones, Brainstorm Island, Aria, NEAN in house band, Yapangtula and band, Yellow Beacon and Demon Arch will be performing. While music schools who have confirmed their participation include Nagaland Conservatory (Mharomo kithan), Joey’s Studio to be represented by Waluniba Lemtur, Mountain Music Academy to be represented by Deuel Khual, Hope Centre for Excellence to be represented by Aren Longchari on classical guitar, Sophia Mozhui and Yanzo Kikon on Violin and Yartenba on Drum.
